how do you get bugs off them?!!
ReplyDeleteNo. There are no bugs. I didn't do anything. Bugs don't like the scent of herbs, their natural defense mechanism I guess. Or I am just lucky.
ReplyDeleteI grew them before, but unsuccessful cuz there were little bugs (like tiny tiny dots, not flying) growing all over. Some bugs actually liked the scent, that was why! Maybe my balcony doesn't have enough sunlight. :(
ReplyDeleteOh, my balcony is south-facing, so in theory I should have no problems with bugs then :) Oh wait a minute, I live in Ireland, where sunny days are hard to come by even in the summer... oh well.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, these are really lovely photos of the herbs, especially the basil!
Are the tomatoes you're growing cherry tomatoes or the ordinary sized ones?
I have relatively small pots for them so they are getting a bit crowded now and I am afraid they might not get to grow up to their full potential. I might have ruined their lives.
ReplyDeleteSo the tomatoes might very well end up being cherry tomatoes even though their heritage is not.
The basil got too much praise. It got a bit woody. Last time I got the same "problem" the plant got woody, I don't know how to keep it from getting woody (i don't know why the sexual innuendo keeps creeping in...) the leaves aren't as big and soft as I want...
I do not at all understand what you're talking about plant getting woody being some sort of sexual innuendo??? And no, I really do NOT want to know.
