Grand Central Terminal

I find it hard to walk around with a 105mm lens and shoot street candids. Everything is so much in your or my face. I guess I could just abstract the subjects? Or it just takes time to get used to the world as seen from a longer lens. I always feel like a shorter lens is much more useful for general shooting.

I waited about four hours for the desired lighting and when the right amount of cloud flew into the frame. What can I tell you? Photography is about patience. It took only 1/160 sec to expose the frame but hours to prepare for that moment.





(note: I hope you know I am just kidding regarding the wait for the proper lighting and cloud flowing into the frame)
