Home Is Where There Is Cheap Haircut


Here I am, shamelessly taking a snapshot using the Canon SD880 IS. Look mom, there is no viewfinder, I am composing using the gigantic 3" LCD shooting in 16:9 anamorphic cinemascope (I really don't know what I am talking about).

  2. After some hands-on with the camera for two weeks, I declare that it wasn't as bad as I thought initially. But I do prefer the use of a finder. The pictures may not look better but I think I look better using a viewfinder. And I think it saves battery life too.

  4. That's true. But most of them have IS or VR now. So it's becoming a non-issue. But technique is still important, sometimes, people just press the shutter hard like pushing the whole camera down, that the IS doesn't help and the picture still comes out blurry.
