I like the first pic, particularly Alex still dressed in my Australian Rubgy Sweater.
ReplyDeleteLovely! Just lovely.
ReplyDeleteWho's that guy in the second picture? Don't tell me that it is you!

That's my little nephew. Even if I were to take 20 years off, I wouldn't look this good.
ReplyDeleteWas he the same forever-crying kid that you were annoyed with in xx81/xx83 when your sister took to HK from NY city for her family visit?

Vincent,
ReplyDeleteYou have excellent memory.
No. I guess that little trouble maker was actually his older brother.
His resemblance to you is striking. If his hair hadn't been parted in the middle, I would have thought it was you. Correct me if I am wrong. You never have your hair parted in the middle in your life, haven't you?
ReplyDeleteVincent
Actually I did and I do. Whenever my hair overgrown, like weed, my hair tend to part in the middle. For a very brief period in high school I think my hair was parted in the middle. My hair is getting long now, so it's parting in the middle and I actually have to make an effort to part it 60/40.
ReplyDeleteYou got any picture of his elder brother? This uncle/nephew resemblance thing is just amazing.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I think you look ok now. This parted-in-the-middle look is for the new generation, not for old guys like us.

Vincent, try Nov 2007 Thanksgiving post, my older nephew is on the right hand side sans glasses.
ReplyDeleteWith his sleeves rolled up, he is one trouble-maker you shouldn't mess around with. But the guy with glasses is the one who really looks like you now. I bet twenty years ago, you must have bullied him a lot.
