Chirashi for Lunch.
Free lunch, not exactly. I forgot to bring my wallet so my friend paid for me. I am sure by tomorrow the next thing I know I am going to forget to pay back my friend. Well now I wrote it down, I can't say I forgot.
HOLY COW. This is the best Blackberry picture I've ever taken.

Sashimi - my favourite. You forgot to write down the amount you owe your friend. How much did it cost, pal? Just in case you forget.
ReplyDeleteBTW, the portions as well as the type of food, e.g. sashimi, that the Japanese people eat are extremely healthy. Small wonder they live that long. You never ever overeat.

Now that you mentioned it, I have to write it down. It's $14.25, tax and tips included. The food is pretty good there.
ReplyDeletelooks very tasty too! :D
ReplyDeleteIt's actually $12.25 so it's cheaper.

The food is pretty good. Actually the Japanese restaurants I tried in the city are all pretty good.
$12.25 for that dish is a good deal (i reckon) esp if it tastes good! you won't get such deals in sheepland.
ReplyDeleteI think NYC has very good Japanese food. That was lunch, at night it would be a slightly more elaborate and more expensive menu. Here the sashimi is not thick but not paper thin either. But the quality of the fish is definitely there. Overall, very nice. This one I went is not anywhere near the upper echelon of fine dining but it's good.
