Personally I think Bokeh is overrated. Sometimes it's just a tired gimmick for those who can afford to buy nice lenses that have an f-stop of 1 or even bigger (or should I say smaller?). For an accomplished photographer like myself, I don't need to resort to these super fast lens.
(Come on god, give me one of those, I am begging you, someone somewhere just gives me one of those, please)

The Bokeh of the Nikon and Canon camp really means nuts.
Ha-ha. It's actually fun. There are just so many aspects of photography. Even I know deep down, a good picture can be pretty irrelevant with the gears. But the gear obsession is really part of the fun to certain people, myself included. Sometimes I can just spend all day or all night looking at old camera stuff online. It's a great way to waste time. Sadly my collection is not so respectable. And I can't make it up with any good pictures, I mean Getty is not asking for my pictures yet. So it's just sad.
ReplyDeleteI meet one of the guy on that forum in the trip to Yunnam. They should be lens collector as oppose to photographer, I suppose.
