This is going to jumpstart your weekend.
To my Irish blog friend Snowdrops who lives in Ireland. You have been warned.
image pilfered from here.
Nowadays I loathe to have my haircut, that's why I seldom have mine cut, maybe once or twice a year. I went back to Chinatown. I could ...
Gee thanks (or shall I say, in stereotyped-but-true Irish accent, Tank you vely much!)
ReplyDeleteIreland is technologically very advanced nowadays.
ReplyDeleteIt is home to many high-tech electronic industries like mobile phones and similar stuff.
It's also got plenty of able and world-renowned programmers.
At least that's what I heard.
Bill Cliton is also an Irish, right ? Let's find some time to visit Dublin in our next visit to Europe
ReplyDeleteHey Sidney, yes Ireland is meant to be quite technologically advanced, what with Intel and IBM and eBay etc. locating their EMEA headquarters here. (Actually a friend gave up her PhD and is now working in IBM). Unfortunately, technologically-advanced our programmers may be, we're still screwed as customers when it comes to consumer electronics.
ReplyDeleteWP2007: Bill Clinton is not Irish per se, although I think he claims some distant Irish heritage in his family tree. But that doesn't matter, as he's actually been made an honorary Dubliner when he visited us back in 2002/2003? I remember seeing him being awarded that honour outside Trinity College.
