Queens Botanical Garden At Noon





All macro shots. Nikon D70, Nikkor 35~105. Manual focus and exposure. All hand-held shooting around 125s to 200s, aperture set at f5.6 or f8 or something else, give or take here and there.

  1. I like the first one best as the lighting is more dramatic. Red flowers is still headache to be recorded properly.

  2. Yes, you are absolutely right. I have no idea how to tame the color channel.

    I am actually quite happy with my steady hand and guestimated exposure. I still don't have a work flow that I can call best practice....

  4. I always thought about blowing up some of my pictures, but I never did. They just not good enough to cover the cracks on my walls. I am still searching for that elusive shot that I can put up on my wall, some day.
