John Edwards Love Child Scandal

I am wondering why there is no reportage on MSM on the Edwards scandal. What is the journalistic standard of what story to break? I remember New York Times broke Spitzer's hookergate. I don't watch TV 24x7 nor do I read the New York Times back to back but still I don't think there is any coverage at all. What gives?

    Elizabeth would be so disappointed if this is indeed true... but maybe this was the reason why Edwards prematurely ended his campaign.

    There seems to be a media blackout on this except for a handful of blogs. Any MSM out there just wouldn't touch it, liberal or conservative, not the kind of full blown coverage anyway. I haven't paying attention lately, so am not sure.
