Honing Experience
Now I just try to hone anything I can find around the house. Or not around the house. I found a pair of old scissors, all rusted, and god know used to cut what in the garage. They were supposed to be hair shears at one point, anyway, I am sure I didn't do everything or anything right ... I just unscrewed the pair and ran them through the honing stone. And they turned out pretty okay, actually pretty sharp.
