Reading

I think all my readings are now done on public transportations like bus and subway. At home, I either watch TV or get online, as unproductive as one can imagine. Some thing got to change. Or actually me got to change.

  1. I too lament the time I spent procrastinating by going online reading blogs and engaging in ultimately fruitless online debates instead of doing what I should be doing... finishing my bloody PhD!!!

However please don't stop wasting your time online Lai as you're like, one of the only two or three people in the world who bothered reading my stuff! Can't afford losing a third of my so-called audience over night y'know ;)

  2. Some of my old friends are my inspiration like vl2007, wp2006 and ss2006, they are pretty well read and knowledgeable despite some are actually crazy and demented.

My readership is about the same. Can count with 10 fingers. You know, I checked back on you when you were busy with other things in life last year.

Hey good luck with your very very advanced degree in whatever whatever you are doing. It's good to know sby who is cultured and well educated.

No, you are wrong, for my bad eyesight since last year, I almost give up reading or keep it to a minimum, the "progressive lens" seems not much helpful to me. Now I absorb the knowledge from you, your eyes become my eyes to the outside world. Now I watch DVD more often than reading, even reading newspaper become a burder to me

Civil War (2024)

This is basically a Dorothy yellow brick road kind of story.  Also, something to do with the new replaces the old, the circle of life thing....
