Apple Quietly Upgraded its MacBook

The MacBook now can max out to 4GB of RAM and has a 800 MHZ front size bus. I don't know what they mean but they sure sound great to my ear. Previously the maximum RAM is 2GB and the front side bus is 667MHZ.

As reported at macrumors.
From Apple Store.

  1. Hey Robert,

How're you my friend? I've been in lurk mode on your blog site for a couple months now since I dug up the address when cleaning my inbox by accident. Anyway, enjoyed your blogs very much.

A little comment on the Macbook, I own a 667FSB Macbook and it actually takes in 3GB, I read it somewhere before I ordered the 2GB upgrade. Actually I think it's a must-do upgrade.

Concerning the silent 4GB support and 800FSB, it's really good news and natural since the desktops are all going up to 1333FSB.

  2. hELLO Lurker,

Now you just outed me as Robert.

No kidding, I think the older MacBook max out at 2GB. Well that just shows I don't know what I am writing, again... thanks for pointing that out.

Thanks for stopping by man. How's family and everything? Tomorrow if everything as planned we will invite ourselves to Fung's new joint some time in the afternoon or evening, not sure. Hope the traffic is bearable.

Civil War (2024)

This is basically a Dorothy yellow brick road kind of story.  Also, something to do with the new replaces the old, the circle of life thing....
