Balenciaga Fall 2007 Ready to Wear



Preppy looking fitted jacket with white piping. Ethnic scarf. Low-riding fitted cargo pants. Lego-colored snowboard binding inspired high heels. Very street smart collection.

The clothes are so wearable on the street that NY Times Cathy Horyn declares that Nicolas Ghesquiere of Balenciaga has not done his job ...
We should always ask ourselves when looking at the new fashion of a first-rate designer if these are clothes we want to wear on the street. If the answer is an enthusiastic yes, then the designer has not done his job. All he has done is to meet the most meager of our expectations.
