ReplyDeleteYou should really thank them. It takes hardwork, time and talent to master a language. You think after you moved to France, have your French improve leaps and bounds? I remember I told you the story of an ex Japanese colleague from my prior prior job. She moved to Paris and after maybe a few months or a year (and probably a French boyfriend or two or three), she was able to speak conversational French, though I understood nothing of it but I believe she did pretty good, good enough to carry out a conversation with almost anybody.
