HD-DVD Dead
Toshiba is rumored to announce as early as next week that it will halt product production and development for it's HD-DVD format. Now, counterfeiters around the world can finally kick back and relax. Just concentrate on Blu-ray and promise consumers an impeccable copy. I have absolute faith in them. My mole wp2008 will duly report back on the progress on Blu-ray.

if you go to the crime city, Mongkok, you will see who is the winner, all the mainland pirated DVD claimed they Blu-ray compatible, I am looking for the mainland made Blu-Ray player if the price going down to USD200
ReplyDeleteBlu-Ray players are mostly backward compatible so any DVDs can be played on most Blu-Ray players. It doesn't mean that what you got from MK are BR discs, probably just regular DVD.
ReplyDeleteyou are damn right, they HK$30 mainland made so called "Blu-Ray" DVD are just regular DVD, I guess, as mainland manufacturers are smart and quick responsive, hope that they can made the "Blu-Ray" players very soon
