Pimped Out
MSNBC little known anchor, Shuster, that's until now, got suspended for remarking that former first daughter Chelsea being "pimped out" by the Clinton Presidential campaign. That really makes me think, at least some what. No parents would like to be accused of that. To be fair, I pimp out myself too.

Since "pimped out" was used in the negative voice, so Chelsea was the prostitute while the Clinton campaign was the pimp. Chelsea was dispatched to cavort with potential voters and to cajole the votes out of them.
ReplyDeleteIs my understanding above correct? At first glance I had difficulty comprehending the phrasal verb "pimped out" 'cos we don't normally use "out" after "pimp", do we? We usually say a man pimps for a woman.
Once I saw a pair of UK Passport holders in e-Bay with word "Pimp" and "Bitch", I want to order one but finally the postage was expensive and then I give up
ReplyDeletess: you are absolutely correct. Despite pimping out Chelsea, the Clintons are in crisis mode or they should be. vl2008 is gaining momentum and he is going to declare the race is heading in his direction. On the Republican side, the clear winner is of course ss.
