Leopard is Limping to an October Release Date

Apple formally announced that its next operating system codenamed Leopard won't be ready for Spring 2007 as previously scheduled instead it will be released in October 2007.

The reason? One word, iPhone. Apple blames the delay for limited resources being diverted to iPhone to make its June ship date. After dropping the Computer from its name, Apple Inc. really prioritizes accordingly.
