  1. Lawyers and judges in HK often use the phrase at the end of the day perhaps to buy themselves time to think while they are making speeches in court. That's why I've also taken up the same not-so-good habit of using that very same phrase quite frequently when I write.

  2. No. I really don't think they are all that bad at all. I use "at the end of the day" quite often myself.

By the way, it took me a while to figure out how to do the table reasonably well like the above.

  3. You are a genius in those kinds of work involving computers as well as cameras. At the end of the day, what do I know about programming and photography?

  5. Time and again, wp2006 has proved himself an asshole. I don't know when he is going to do an about-face. Maybe in a split second.

Sid, with your outpouring of support and flattery, sometimes I do feel like I have wealth of experience in photography and computer, but that's obviously not the truth. Photography is not entirely a level playing field, better equipment probably yields better image all things being equal. I hope my finance aren't so often in the red, and more in the black so I can get all the pro lenses my finance have denied me for so long. Hopefully, at the end of the day talent trumps all.

Time is running out. Until next time. Bye.

  6. You really can write, man. I think you wrote very well, incorporating all those clichés in a hilarious style of writing. I had a good laugh reading your last comment.

All these years of studying and working abroad have done you plenty of good, I venture to suggest. You are a completely different writer from the days we met in 1981. Way to go, buddy.

Time's far from running out. And the night is still young in your neighbourhood. But since you're already in bed and need a good rest, good night to you. Have a nice dream.
