Somebody I know told me he did the calculation in his head like that
(14/2) x (5x2)
=7 x 10
=70
I thought that was brilliant. Mechanically I can do it in my head (yes, I actually can). Or at most I would think OKAY, 14 x 5 = 10 x 5 + 4 x 5 = 70. But I would never have thought about the first method.

ReplyDeleteI hope it doesn't make you feel lesser of yourself. You know everybody is different and special in her own way .... That's what I have been telling myself since I started failing all public exams and all kinds of expectations from others.
