This is another shot of The New York Public Library. This terrace facing the Fifth Avenue is part of the Bryant Park according to Bryant Park.

  2. You are right, NOT.
    The one below had the exposure and focus far back at the lion. The flower is overexposed and out of focus.
    I like this one better.

  3. Now I gave a bit more thought, If I had the exposure at the lion, a light object, the flower would be underexposed. And why the hell the flower seems a bit "overexposure." I think it's more about saturation. When I took this one, I cranked up the saturation and sharpness. Never mind.

    They are underexposed and appear lighter in colour, i.e. pink, in the lower photograph.

    The wizardry of digital imaging is such that you never get to see the real thing. Every aspect of the image can be toned up or down, or even manipulated in whichever way you like.
