  3. Where's all the metadata of the photo, buddy? I'd like to know what lens you used? At what aperture and shutter speed, etc? Are there anything particular to note in taking such a great macro shot of a flower, Robert? My kids seem very enthusiastic about taking macro flower pictures lately with the Nikon D60.

  4. I am actually surprised to find out the exif data are stripped. I did a resize that's about it. The lens is a Nikkor macro 55mm f/2.8. I mounted the camera on a tripod with the bar horizontal so I can shoot downward directly. With macro, a tripod is essential. But it's not like I never shot macro without a tripod before, indeed I had one I am quite fond of, a couple of yellow roses I shot in Hyde Park, England long long time ago, hand held with my 35~105mm lens on my FE.
    I probably shot that in aperture priority with -1/3 EV compensation. probably f/8 and 1/60 second at ISO100. I have yet gone to dig up the original jpeg.
