An interesting read on the micro-NIKKOR 55mm f/2.8 AI version. Notice the tone of the writing, very interesting. Mine is the AIS version (I doubt there was AI to begin with) manufactured between 1979 to 2005. Actually the lens is listed in Nikon, so it's in production! Surprise.
