I tried Debian as well. Still no go.
My floppy is 'broken' as I was trying to flash my BIOS.

If you can't install it, who else can? What is "flashing" my BIOS? I know BIOS, but not flashing my BIOS.

once I was also struggle for the the Wireless Connection at home, but I give up, if I have choice, I prefer "wifeless connection at home"

The Linux source CDs were burned by me, I don't know if it's in part of the media. Or in part because of the CD-ROM drive or in part because of some old BIOS that the Linux kernel can't work well with.
Wireless connection using Windows is not too bad. Although I did find it from time to time, I can't get a connection from my IBM notebook.
ReplyDeleteI have a real cheap PCI card for my Desktop, that works very consistent. Also my Apple iBook, the connection is consistent.
Sometimes the IBM connection would just unable to connect.
The Windows wifi configuration is not too bad, unless the manufacturer really gives out some stinky utility.
