Albert Ho

(FYI: No, this is not a still picture from A Better Tomorrow, Part IV.)

For a second, I thought Albert Ho was some triad big brother, must be the aviator shades he donned on; I think to cover his scars sustained during a vicious attack in a Central's McDonald's days ago. In terms of sunglasses, we do have similar tastes.

Albert Ho, you really rock.

You guys might have the same taste in shades, but not in height. You are head and shoulders above him. He is five two at most. Besides, I can't believe a guy would look that good after some guys had attacked him with baseball bats. This has been blown out of proportions. The triad toughs just wanted to shake his hand, that's all.

  2. It's because Al has this super human quality, able to regenerate damaged cells and what not, essentially a walking neosporin.

Hence he is totally ambulatory after a few days in the hospital.

He rocks despite he's probably vertically challenged.

If someone had taken a picture of me that night last October when I had an accident playing squash, I would have looked a lot worse. I bled more and my forehead was swollen like an orange. I needed three stitches on my face, and I was ready to rock in no time.
Come to think of it, it took some finesse to hurt someone like that with a baseball bat.

  6. I think we need to have a re-enactment of the whole thing. I suggest Sid acts as Albert Ho and the you and Will as the thugs. And you guys swing as hard as for a minute and see what happens.

sorry, i couldn't come to the buffet, it was the first week of classes, and i'm already behind on reading. not having one of the textbooks yet is not helping me any either.

btw, i never received any of your calls - another shining example of Cingular's wonderful technology.

I don't understand why Al sounded so defiant in his press conference at the hospital. "I'm not scared off by the violence. I'll go about my business as usual after I'm discharged from hospital," vowed Albert Ho. I told my colleagues that next time those violent thugs would use machetes instead, as some other scumbags did to Albert Cheng a few years ago. After all Albert Ho is not being protected by the G4 guys (police officers trained to be bodyguards of VIPs to the governmemt).

  9. You know what, because Albert Ho is one tough motherfucker deep down. The vicious attack just brought out the breast in him.

If those thugs are going to try to as to come within 3 feet before him, he's going to knock them down cold, just like what a tough motherfucker would do.

    Bravo, Albert Ho.

Regardless of epithets like 'toughs'or 'thugs', I have a lot of admiration for those 'individuals' who could eke out 'justice' in such a measured manner. They are pros. They are good in what they do.

  11. Coming from you, that's a revelation.

I would go out on a limp to recommend the only significant worth Cruise performance for a long time, i.e. "Collateral" by Michael Mann. It's all about man doing his job to perfection, moral or not.

You can skip Miami Vice, I know it probably brought back fond memories, but it's total bullshit.

  12. I read all your comment, that's why I take some training in Taekwondo, it don't think whether in real fighter such skill work, but at least I think it can have some defense, just guess
