The bottom picture was taken yesterday. The top one was taken just moments ago. I didn't reset my camera clock, so the exif data aren't exactly right when time is concerned. Anyway, it's much harder than I thought taking a good picture of the moon. The above was cropped at 100%.

It wasn't all that big. But it sure was bright. Perhaps I saw it a big too late, the biggest should be around 7.26PM or so. I shot it around 9PM I think. It was cold outside.

You need a good tripod, a long lens, and patience. The above is OKAY. I guess if I planned better, more patience, I guess maybe it could be better.

ReplyDeleteIt's pretty frustrating experience actually. My eyes don't see that well and I don't have a long enough lens to reach the moon. I make use of whatever I have.
