Socks and Sandals

I think everybody is doing it now.  And there is really nothing wrong with it.  Come to think of it, it's probably good podiatric hygiene.  God know where Chanel or rather Lagerfeld got the inspiration for this socks and sandals combo from (though you certainly can see the movie and the stills from this campaign somewhere here), but if I were to trace the origin of this trend, I would definitely attribute this to our sisters back in China.  They were doing it long before it is considered fashionable, more like fashion fubar.  Finally, at long last, fashion comes their way.
